The world's leading green energy Awards scheme elected MEA as one of the pioneering energy projects from the UK, Africa, Asia and Latin America chosen as finalists for the Ashden Awards for Sustainable Energy 2009.
MEA won £15,000 in the charity category at a ceremony hosted by HRH The Prince of Wales in London in June. The prize money will be used for project development and expansion within MEA.
