graham sparrow . . .
Graham Sparrow has been a volunteer with MEA since February 2009. He helps with all things IT related, is excellent with spreadsheets and data inputting, keeps our website up to date, sends out the quarterly newsletter to over 500 recipients, and generally does anything that is thrown at him!
Skills: Microsoft Office, Touch Typing, very low level web design, some Visual Basic 6, I've also played about with PHP from a programming aspect rather than using it for web design Where I've come from: Born and raised in Beverley, Humberside until the age of five; moved to Shrewsbury around then. I like: Japanese animation, spending my free time at home in front of my computer, listening to music very loudly, drinking lots of soft drinks, Autumn, thunderstorms A moral I live my life by: Carpe Noctem (seize the night) How I'm trying to live more sustainably: Double glazed windows, energy saving lightbulbs, recycling, loft insulation, using public transportation/walking everywhere and wearing my coat around the house when I'm cold! I believe the greatest threat to our current society and environment is: greed My 'dirty secret' (nothing lewd or personal here please - from a sustainability point of view only!): I have a tendency to keep my electric fan running through the summer (in a 30+ degree room...) It may surprise you to know but... I'm a fan of Hancock's Half Hour radio series and The Navy Lark If things had turned out differently I might have been . . . at home, sleeping |
