Professional Interests: Learning ways to be more energy efficient, enabling me to spread the word of the small but effective ways we can save energy! Skills: Creativity, Good Communicator, Enthusiastic and Enjoy a Challenge! I like: Camping whatever the weather, The Coast, nice views and fresh air, lazy Sunday’s spent cosy on the sofa with a Audrey Hepburn film or walking in the hills with my man, Shopping (especially shoes), laughing, Animals, Horseriding, My very spoilt Cats, Music, Socialising (I can’t resist a good party or night out!), fashion and I also enjoy cooking. I really don’t like Moths! How I'm trying to live more sustainably: I never leave anything on standby, my light bulbs are all energy saving, recycling my glass, cans and paper. I always walk into town rather than using the car and I TRY to use my heating sensibly! I believe the greatest threat to our current society and environment is: that many people think that by doing ‘their bit’ is not going to change things; small changes make a huge difference My 'dirty secret' (nothing lewd or personal here please - from a sustainability point of view only!): I do admit that I sometimes leave the TV on for my cats when I am out! It may surprise you to know but . . . I worked with and partied with Kylie Minogue and Justin Timberlake! If things had turned out differently I might have been . . . a Hollywood Movie Star! |
